Pop Luxe Portrait floats a black-and-white vintage photograph of a woman with oversized aviator sunglasses against a field of overlapping color circles: deep teal in the upper left, vermillion red at center left, burnt orange at upper right, golden yellow below, a smaller teal at lower right, all slightly textured as if painted. The contrast is doing all the work: the monochrome figure holds steady while the geometry shifts behind it, and the only color that crosses over is the red lipstick. Pop art prints home decor rarely uses this degree of restraint to this much effect. Made to order and framed in black or red oak, in three sizes from 12×18 to 24×36.
