Retro Waves

Broad sweeping bands of amber, orange-red, deep navy, and cerulean arc diagonally across the picture, pinching into two large dark circular forms at opposing corners. The palette and rhythm come directly from the graphic design of the late 1960s, when bold curve and warm color carried the argument. Geometric art prints mid-century modern living rooms and dining areas pair naturally with this one: the bands are large enough to read from across the room, and warm enough to hold in artificial light as well as natural.
